Preparation
Ensure fire is out and surface cool. Remove all rust, scale and dirt and ensure that surface is dry and free from grease etc. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960's paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead. For further advice, contact the Blackfriar Technical Services Department. Avoid dust inhalation by wearing a suitable protective face mask if dry sanding.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use with a broad stirrer. Apply 1 or 2 coats by brush or spray. During spraying, wear suitable respiratory equipment.

COVERING CAPACITY 1 Litre will cover approximately 12m sqaure.
DRYING TIME A few hours under normal conditions. Allow to dry overnight before re-coating. Allow at least 24 hours before exposing to high temperatures.
CLEAN UP Use Blackfriar Brush Cleaner or white spirit. Remove as much product as possible from the application equipment before washing. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposal or disposing of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
