Ensure fire is out and surface cool. Remove all rust, scale and dirt and ensure that surface is dry and free from grease etc. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960's paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead. For further advice, contact the Blackfriar Technical Services Department. Avoid dust inhalation by wearing a suitable protective face mask if dry sanding.
Stir thoroughly before use with a broad stirrer. Apply 1 or 2 coats by brush or spray. During spraying, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
