Exterior Woodstain Varnish

Sadolin Extra is a durable woodstain for all softwood and hardwood apart from decking or areas subject to heavy wear/abrasion. It is particularly suitable for joinery such as doors and windows, where its flexible nature and water repellancy provide long lasting protection. For optimum durability on new wood, the use of Sadolin Classic as a base coat is recommended, particularly when treating hardwoods.

Range of use

Aidol Window & Door Wood Stain Finish can be used indoors and outdoors on dimensionally stable as well as unstable building elements such as windows, shutters, doors, wood siding, garden furniture, carports, pergolas, framework, etc. It can be used for intermediate and finishing coats on soft and hardwood and for renovating existing stains.

Cetol Filter 7 plus is a highly durable, medium build, solvent-borne woodstain that provides a highly translucent, satin finish and offers outstanding protection from the damaging effects of sunlight.

A medium and high durability finish coat for use over Cetol HLS on joinery. Ideal for smooth planed softwoods and hardwoods. Its unique resin and pigment dispersal system combined with ultraviolet absorbers allow Cetol Filter 7 to achieve protection from UV light thereby restricting the degradation of the timber surface in direct sunlight.

Sikkens Cetol THB plus is a medium build, solvent-borne woodstain that gives a translucent, semi-gloss finish. Suitable for areas where more frequent maintenance periods are acceptable.

For use as a finish over Cetol HLS on smooth planed softwoods and hardwoods, providing a durable, translucent finish. It is ideal as a finish coat for joinery.

Blackfriar Exterior Woodstain stains, protects and finishes exterior timber. It can be used on all hard and softwoods. Its weather-resistant, water-repellent satin finish resists flaking, peeling and cracking.

Johnstones Quick Dry Woodstain is a quick drying water based satin woodstain designed to protect exterior wood from decay whilst providing a low film build finish.

Johnstone's Satin Woodstain has been special formulated for smooth timber joinery such as doors, windows, fascia boards, cladding and garden furniture to provide a microporous satin finish that highlights the natural grain of the wood. It is especially beneficial when used on exterior joinery (hardwood or softwood) but can also be used on interior wood.
